If you subscribe to the letter: your email and, if you give it, your name. Also whether you open the emails and which links you click, which the sending platform records. If you buy the book: your name, your email and the country you're buying from. Your card details are handled by Stripe and I never see or store them. If you write to me: whatever you tell me in your email.
To send you the weekly letter and the welcome emails, which may include recommendations of the book. I do this because you asked for it by subscribing, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email. To sell you the book, deliver it and handle a refund if you ask for one. This is necessary to complete the purchase. To keep the sales records that tax law requires of me. To reply if you write to me.I don't sell your data or pass it to anyone to send you advertising.
I use two services that process data on my behalf and only for what's described here:
beehiiv, the platform I use to send the letter and host this website.
Stripe, which processes payments.
Both companies are based in the United States, so your data may leave the European Union. They do so with the safeguards required by the General Data Protection Regulation. The letter sometimes includes affiliate links to stores like Amazon or Instant Gaming. If you click, what happens on their site is governed by each store's own privacy policy.
Your subscriber email, until you unsubscribe. Purchase data, for as long as tax law requires. Emails you send me, for as long as needed to deal with what you asked.
You can ask me at any time to see what data I have about you, correct it, delete it, take a copy, restrict how it's used or object to me using it. Just write to [email protected]. If you think I haven't handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to the data protection authority where you live.
This website uses beehiiv's cookies to work and to measure visits. When you arrive you can accept them, reject the non-essential ones or choose which ones you want.
